World Bank Conference on Urbanization/Poverty at GW

On ​Friday 8 September (9am-7.30pm, World Bank Heaquarters, Preston Auditorium), the World Bank, George Washington University and IGC Cities will be co-organizing the 4th World Bank-GWU conference on Urbanization and Poverty Reduction.

The theme is Building or Rebuilding Cities for Growth. Keynote speakers include Edward Glaeser (Harvard) and Paul Romer (World Bank). Other speakers include Gilles Duranton (Wharton), Matthew Turner (Brown) and Anthony Venables (Oxford).

PhD students who would like to attend need to pre-register using the link below. Indeed, you need a badge to get in the World Bank building. Badges will be ready for you the day of the conference. Learn more and register.
